Mazunah Dry Port (MDP) is a unique dry port at the Mazunah Free Zone, on the border of the Sultanate of Oman with Yemen. MDP aims to further develop and facilitate the trade between the two countries. It is a strategic gateway for the investors and traders between the two countries.
Being in a very strategic location and inside the Mazunah Free Zone, MDP is the ideal logistics solution to the shipping lines, freight forwarders and consignees who are handling a lot of cargo between Oman and Yemen.
MDP will provide all the services to help facilitate the shipment process between the two countries, in turns helping to boost investment and business inside the Free Zone. It will also provide Container Freight Station (CFS) services at MDP to help develop the LCL and cross-docking cargo handling.
MDP is a subsidiary of Al Madina Logistics Services Company (AMLS), Oman’s leading 3rd and 4th Party logistics operator. AMLS also owns and operates Muscat Container Depot, established as the first Inland Port in Oman. AMLS is also a shareholder and founding partner of Khazaen Dry Port (KDP) being developer at South Batinah Region, Oman.
